DELICIOUS PECOS BILL’S JERKY
Available at Dollarama at Yonge and Charles, these “Solid Strips of Beef!” with honey BBQ smoke flavour added are a “Product of Argentina, Further Processed in the U.S.A.” This 25g package of chewy, unrefrigerated meat contains 2 per cent of your daily value of fat, 12 per cent of your daily value of sodium and an astounding 0 per cent of your daily value of fibre. Plus: The package bears pictures of both bees and a moustachioed cowboy. On the downside: Downside?

ONE DAY MINI COOPER OR SMART CAR RENTAL FROM CITYFLITZ
The new car-sharing service offers stylish Minis and Smart cars for rent for only a buck a day for up to a week at a time. Plus: All vehicles have Wi-Fi high-speed internet access. On the downside: The cars are wrapped in advertisements, which kind of puts the “sty” back in stylish. And drivers are required to drive at least 30km per day. Oh, and a GPS tracking system enables advertisers “to have real-time information about the use of the car.” See www.cityflitz.com for information.

GROSS OUT REPUGNANT PULL MY FINGER KEYCHAIN
Also from the Yonge Street Dollarama, this “hand”-y plastic keychain makes “3 HILARIOUS FARTING SOUND EFFECTS” when you pull the extended pointing finger. Our expert tester classifies the sounds as “groaning drunk,” “blubber mouth” and “buzzsaw.” Plus: Batteries included. On the downside: Probably won’t fit in your pocket, possibly even less socially acceptable than the old gross-out “pull my finger” gag.

THREE-BEDROOM, TWO-BATHROOM HOUSE IN RIVERDALE
93 Badgerow Ave., just south of Pape and Gerrard E., has been listed for sale on MLS for $1 since April. Plus: Hardwood floors, central vac, porcelain tiles, tree-lined streets. On the downside: It already sold, on Aug. 26, for $385,000. Market slowdown or no, the publicity-stunt listing price was intended by vendor Omar Ibrahim to stir up interest in the property — given that it took months to sell, how successful it was is up for debate.
