In case you didn't know, the
Jonas Brothers are in town. Who are the Jonas Brothers? Imagine The Strokes circa 2001, only smaller, and with less heroin. Tweeners from across the country (and even Australia) have been camped out outside the Much Music building for the past two days in anticipation of the brothers' appearance this afternoon. Below are some photos from Wednesday night, when about three hundred teenage girls (and some parents) camped out in the rain along Richmond Street by the Scotiabank Theatre.

And this is how it looked two hours ago (imagine much honking of horns and screaming):

Other signs seen this afternoon included: "Nick is Sick," "You make my temperature hotter," and the frankly inappropriate "I'm a slut for the Jonas Brothers." The kids in the photo below, including Rachelle (far left) and Stevie (far right) have been queuing up since Tuesday at 1pm. Earlier today, Rachelle managed to sneak off and see the Brothers at the Four Seasons hotel. "I got to touch him and smell Joe!" she told Toronto Notes. "He was glowing! He smelled like peppermint."

Toronto Notes has to rush off now, because he's got front row tickets for the brothers' Much Music appearance at 5. More details to follow tomorrow afternoon.
